“If your women ask permission to go to the mosque at night, allow them.”[Sahih Al-Bukhari]

Daily Hadith – 231

Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If your women ask permission to go to the mosque at night, allow them.”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book of Adhan (Call to Prayer), Hadith: 865]

  • Tauseen Malik Tahir bijli .. My understanding regarding the hadith that u r referring to is : that one has a specific background story regarding a sahabi and his wife and the one written above is a general Hadith for everyone .
It is really sad, when muslim brothers start Quoting hadith without their contexts.

    May Allah(swt) grant us understanding

  • Shahid Ur RahmanAn Important Question :
Were the women’s of that time also wearing designer burka with camelhump and full make up on without wearing nikaab with her mesmerizing catwalk?

That’s what I call following one thing blindly and leaving other!

Another reason how important is to follow an madhab.
